Wow, it has been a long time since I last updated. It's just I've been drowning in schoolwork and had all these deadlines. It was absolutely crazy but what could I do other than following along. Not only that, but the nursing school had sent all these emails about things we had to pay for. I hope that the last thing was seriously the last test we had to pay for because shouldn't they pay for these tests if they want to know our background? Not the other way around?
Seeing people who have already finished school and are in their career and are also able to do what they want makes me feel sad for myself. This older girl that my sister and I know (because she visited our church a few times a while ago) became a pharmacist, but is traveling everywhere with her brother, who is also a pharmacist. She posts photos on FB and says in her captions that she is "living the life." It seems like her definition of "living the life" is the same as mine. However, she's already doing it...and I'm not. I don't even think I'll be able to have time to travel like she does because I'm going to be a nurse and not a pharmacist. Unless I take a course in which I get to travel somewhere but that would probably just be a one-time thing. I'm so jelly of her, gah.
My photography IG account has reached 10 posts, but I still feel like it's not enough to really showcase anything in order for me to follow more people. There's a list of places I have on my phone from me stalking around on IG to find some places near me to check out. I am so glad I checked out the #dallaseats tag. Now before nursing school starts I need to visit the places I noted down. Hopefully I'll be able to do that and take photos to add to my IG account. Then I can follow more people, ha.
