☆ 3. ♫ one last time ♫

So the other day I bought an iPod touch 5th gen. because I am fed up with the Android version of Instagram. No matter how good your photo looks on your Android phone, the Android version of IG will just ruin it once you upload. Therefore, on my quest to change my life, I need the iOS version of IG. The iPod has been a life-saver. I take photos on my Galaxy S4, then upload them to IG using my iPod. (Follow me on my photography IG account!) The photo quality doesn't turn to crap anymore. I am happy about that...but now I'm wondering if I should bother to keep the camera I bought or not. My phone takes nice enough photos. The only thing I would need to use a camera for is for filming, but I don't even know if we would be doing anything of the sort. /sigh I have taken a few test photos so I would just need to delete them. Although I have thrown away the packaging for the memory card, and some of the packaging for the camera, so I'm not sure if I can return them without those things. /sigh again

On Tuesday evening I checked my email during my night class to discover that I had received an acceptance email from the nursing school! I couldn't even believe my eyes when I was reading the email. I was so happy I started tearing up and thanking God so much. I wouldn't even had known that the school had sent out acceptance emails if I hadn't been scrolling through Twitter at the time. (I had checked my email in the morning but there was nothing like that then.) I still have classes at the campus I go to right now so I need to finish with a bang. Reminder to self: No slacking!

Earlier today I bought my Beautycon Dallas ticket. General admission because I'm just a poor college student. The gap between the GA ticket and the Pro ticket is a 100-dollar difference O_O. I'm sure there are reasons for that. I'll be going with my first younger sister. We haven't exactly planned out everything yet but she also bought a GA ticket. There are two or three YouTube beauty gurus I want to see there so I'm hoping I can. Even a glimpse is enough! It's this Saturday so I'm exciteddd! However, I still have an online midterm exam due tomorrow and I'm sure I have other assignments to do, too. -.-

Well, until next time~

☆ 02. kill me, heal me

Finally bought a new camera today! In my quest of changing my life, part 1 is done! I still have some things I need to do, but I'm glad I was able to purchase a camera today. It's not a DSLR, because I needed something compact to carry around. I was at the store for a while, walking back and forth, deciding on a camera. I narrowed it down to two; unfortunately, they didn't have anymore of the first one I liked, so I had to get the second one. However, this camera seems great so far, so I have no complaints as of yet (and hopefully never).

I know I said I won't be talking about K-pop here, but K-dramas? Of course I have to! I started "Kill Me, Heal Me" several weeks ago but I didn't continue watching it regularly because I was too focused on PLL. I just picked it up again the other day and now I'm hooked! It is such a good drama. I've watched both the leads in other dramas before and they have impressed me more than ever in this one, especially Ji Sung (who is also a very handsome man, by the way).

I should be doing my assignments--I have two due on Wednesday for A&P lab--but I need to finish the 8th episode, which I've paused in order to type this.

Until next time~

☆ 01. the groundwork

I thought I should pick up from where I left off on my old blog, but the time gap is too big so here I am, making a new one.

Why are all the good URLs taken??? Just when you think you're being creative and unique some lucky person has already snagged the name you had in mind.

Another reason why I wanted to make a new blog is that the content of this one will be a little different from my previous blog. I've kinda moved on from K-pop and so that topic will most likely not be discussed here.

For the past several days I've been thinking about how I want to change my life. I don't want to be living this way anymore. So I thought my siblings and I should become YouTube stars. As silly as that may sound, everyone starts somewhere. However, that idea is still being tossed around and there's no definite method of anything yet. We don't have the right equipment at the moment either so there's some setback.

I've still been debating whether I should get a new camera (since someone ruined my GE digital camera, which was good but not good enough for what we plan to do anyway) or a new phone when I've finished paying off my current one. If I continue paying it off monthly, then I'll be finished paying in late July. If I pay them more monthly, then I can get a new phone--most likely an iPhone--sooner. However, I would have to pay for it month by month. If I get a new camera, that's a one-time payment of however much. I've been so used to my Galaxy S4 that I don't think I'll be able to switch to an iPhone, anyway.

Seems to me like a new camera is the better option here. The only thing is I need to hide it and I don't exactly have a place to do so. My first younger sister and I were considering renting a storage unit where we could store our stuff and also decorate to turn it into our studio for filming (the YouTube idea). This isn't set in stone yet though so I'm still stuck on what to do. /sigh

Well, until next time~
